This is the new advertising campaign for Tele2, a phone company in Sweden. It really took me a long time to understand this commercial. Why are they using talking sheep to sell a phone? Then it was explained to me that with a Swedish accent, pronouncing the word “cheap” comes out as “sheep.”
Still, the talking sheep thing is really disturbing and doesn’t really make me want to buy a phone plan with them.

This campaign may be the worst ever. I don’t know what they where thinking? I’ve been a Swede all my life (oh yeah?) and I didn’t get the point until after weeks and weeks.
They probably got it cheap from the ad agency…
